पुस्तक परीक्षण - भुलभुलैय्या , लेखक - व.पु.काळे

सदरचे पुस्तक हे एक प्रकारचं  चमत्कारच आहे.भुलभुलैय्या  नावातच चमत्कार  वाटावा  अशी ही कथा आहे. ह्या पुस्तकामध्ये १७ कथा  आहेत. ह्या  कथांमध्ये  तोचतोच पणा  जरा देखील  जाणवत  नाही.

व.पु.काळेंच्या कथांमध्ये मध्यमवर्गीय जीवन केंद्रित  असतं.भुलभुलैय्या मध्ये  सध्याच्या  मध्यमवर्गीय  कुटुंबाला आपल्या आयुष्यात आनंद कसा मिळवता येईल यावर अत्यंत चमत्कारिक पद्धतीने भाष्य केलं आहे. 

मात्र  कथेमध्ये कुठेही वाचकाला बोचरी जाणीव होत नाही. व.पुंच्या खोडकर व मिश्किल लिखाणामुळे वाचक कथेमध्ये गुंतून जातो. ह्यामध्ये ब्रह्मदेवाचा बाप आणि प्रचिती ह्या कथांमध्ये व.पु.काळेंनी कल्पनाशक्तीचा  शेवट केला आहे . सर्वांच्या सर्व कथा मनाला स्पर्श व आनंद मिळवून देतात . एका लिखाणामुळे जर वाचकांच्या घरात व आयुष्यात आनंद निर्माण होत असेल तर ह्यातच लेखकाचं यश आहे. नवख्या लेखकांनी व.पु.काळेंच्या सर्व पुस्तकांची पारायण करावीत .

Book Review- The Boy who loved, Writer-Durjoy Dutt.

The novel is diary of teenager where he describes how he faced the difficulties that life threw at him. This plot that takes you back to 1998-2000. Story is all about boy named Raghu and his family. It begins with plot where Raghu is facing much bigger emotional trauma in his life. This trauma keeps Raghu away from emotion basket. Later on he gets fascinated when he meets girl named Brahmi.  He is getting involved with Brahmi in much extent. But Life throws him into deep end with worst fears.

I liked much writing plot since it is written in most realistic manner. I found writing flow was getting disturbed in middle of story. Sometimes story looked like an extended pages. I thought last some pages could be edited. Story focuses on confused teenagers, uncertain about love and at the same time trying to cope up with guilt. The novel describes his daily confusion with life and his family. The turn off in the novel is a sad ending which I personally feel doesnt justify the story. It could be represented in some other way.

It is good fictional book.  Though I am fan of writer, it could be much better with compact style.

Book Review-Spy

I had been biggest fan of Mr. Paulo Coelho after reading his novel Alchemist. I was inspired from his writing style of Alchemist. But this new book Spy.................................

The spy is one of such Novel; it is based on the story of Margaretha Geertruida better known by the stage name Mata Hari Dutch dancer told in Mata Hari’s voice through her final letter. Her only crime was to be an independent woman. When Mata Hari arrived in Paris she was penniless. Within months she was the most celebrated woman in the city. As a dancer, she shocked and delighted audiences; as a courtesan, she bewitched the era’s richest and most powerful men. But as paranoia consumed a country at war, Mata Hari’s lifestyle brought her under suspicion. In 1917, she was arrested in her hotel room and accused of espionage. 

While reading most of readers do feel that Mata Hari is telling her story to the world where most of them get connected to her. Story is deep involving from starting of book which keeps reader involved in it. But later on they may lose involvement since there are lots of letters which may lose attention of readers. The moment she gets arrested we couldn't find exact reason why she was arrested during World War and leaves behind much unanswered questions about Mata Hari. Story seems to be gone out of track after 2nd half.As reader I was disappointed with book since I admired writer a lot. 

I'd recommend this book only for those who can take reading hard hitting reality and the vagaries of women hood.

Book review- Despite Love

Creativity, storytelling, writing are god gifted tools. Neither any institute nor any book can give you guidance about how to be perfect storyteller and write a perfect story. Creativity and art has no age limit and bounding time.

Recently I purchased this book and I finished it in just 3 hours. Let me go through this book. This book is about story of young guys Smriti, Rishabh, Amita, Ashish, Ankit and Aradhya. Smriti loved Rishabh and Rishabh too loved her. Their relationship is under path of fire. Meanwhile Smriti was looking to take a break break from their relationship but it was hard for Rishabh. Aradhya, Ankit, Amita, Ashish are their close friends. But Smriti never realized that this break would be forever taking her away from him. Rishabh is shattered as he loses the love of his life in mysterious circumstances. He couldn’t accept reality so easily.

As investigation leads further Rishabh loses his other friend. This case turns out to be complicated. Till the things were getting clean and Rishabh is getting ready to taste his life again he loses his one more friend.

Whats going on? Is this Case getting worst with time? Who is Criminal? Do Aradhya, Ankit, Amita, Ashish co-relate with them? What will happen to Rishabh?

Despite Love is a perfect engrossing tale of love, suspense, intrigue and passion that keeps you on the edge till the very end. After reading this book it was unbelievable that it is written by author whose age is just 17. Writing is god-gifted tool which has no age limit. Language used in book is very very simple. There are not much complex words used while writing hence it makes easier to read for all readers. While reading you cannot predict what will happen in next scene? Author has generated much curiosity and drama about story. Author has well described story of all characters after their graduation days. Writing is done in decent flow and well prescribed manner.

I will give distinction for this book. Author who writes his first book at age of 17 has definitely great future in writing.It is decent story of Love, suspense and thriller that all readers will enjoy.
